Dr. Richard Jay Gilbert, M.D. is a gastroenterology expert witness from Massachusetts. He completed his M.D. in 1978 from New Jersey Medical School. He further completed his residency at Hahnemann University Hospital and then completed his fellowships at Beth Israel Hospital and at Medical College of Winconsin. He has physician’s licenses from the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Gilbert is a Research Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Northeastern University. Prior to this, he was an Associate Professor at Warren Alpert Medical School and was affiliated with Miriam Hospital.
