Dr. Salazar currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health, where he has been a faculty member since 2011. In addition to his academic role, he is the President of Salazar Consulting Group, Inc., a position he has held since 1999, providing expert consulting services in environmental and occupational health. Previously, he held various roles as an adjunct faculty member at both the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa, and worked as a Principal Consultant at ENVIRON International Corporation. His career includes significant contributions as a Senior Health Scientist and Industrial Hygienist at Chastain-Skillman, Inc., where he worked from 1993 to 1999. Dr. Salazar’s diverse experience spans both academic and practical applications in public health, environmental consulting, and industrial hygiene, making him a trusted expert in his field.
