He further completed his internship and residency at the University of the Witwatersrand and then completed his fellowship at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Bongio also completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine in 20010 from Boston University Graduate Medical School. He has a physician's license from the state of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
