Since 2003, Dr. Basse has practiced at Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation Specialists, LLC in Denver, Colorado. Her prior positions include Medical Director of the Pain Rehabilitation Program at the Center for Spine Rehabilitation (1989–1999) and Associate Medical Director roles at Broncos Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Clinic and RSD Clinic. She has also worked with Gates Occupational Clinic, Colorado Rehabilitation Institute, and Integrated Health Management.
Dr. Basse has presented on chronic pain, occupational medicine, rehabilitation, and workers’ compensation issues at professional conferences and seminars. She has participated in national and international meetings on pain management, sports medicine, and spine rehabilitation. Her continuing education includes advanced courses in lumbar disc herniation treatment, botulinum toxin applications, and physician re-accreditation for workers’ compensation. She is a longstanding member of the International Association for the Study of Pain and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
