Richard Scott French

Dr. Richard Scott French, M.D., F.A.C.E.P., is an accomplished physician and healthcare leader with extensive expertise in emergency medicine, healthcare administration, and clinical management. Dr. French holds an M.D. from the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, an MBA from Regis University, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and his internship/residency in General Surgery at the University of North Carolina. Dr. French is board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is licensed to practice in multiple states across the U.S., including California, Hawaii, Idaho, and Pennsylvania.

Currently, Dr. French serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Human Coalition and has a longstanding history of leadership roles, including as the California Medical Director for Valley Emergency Physicians and Regional Director for ECIHP. He has held numerous medical director positions, including at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington, and Fairchild Medical Center in Yreka, California. Additionally, Dr. French has been an influential clinical faculty member in emergency medicine at the University of Washington and has provided consulting services in healthcare management, medical affairs, and clinical operations for organizations such as Regence Blue Shield and PacifiCare of California.
