Phillip Lawrence Pearl

Dr. Phillip Lawrence Pearl, M.D. is a pediatric neurology expert witness from District of Columbia. His clinical expertise also includes neurology, child neurology, neurodevelopmental disabilities, epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He has active medical licenses from the states of District of Columbia, Massachusetts and Maryland. He is also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology. He completed his B.A. with honors in Natural Sciences in the year 1980 from the Johns Hopkins University at Baltimore, Maryland and then earned his medical degree in 1984 from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. He further completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics from the Baylor College of Medicine at Houston, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology from the Children's Hospital, the Beth Israel Hospital and the Harvard Medical School at Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, Dr. Pearl is the Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology and also the Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Neurology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is also the Chief of General Child Neurology and the Director of Education in the Department of Neurology at the Children's National Medical Center. Additionally, he is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology. He has several publications to his credit.
