Dr. Peter Joseph Wilk, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.C.R.S. is a colon & rectal surgery expert witness from New York. He also has expertise in general surgery. He has no active medical license. He completed his B.S. in 1964 from the Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut and then earned his M.D. in 1968 from the New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York. He then pursued his internship in 1969 and fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery in 1975 from the Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the United States Army Reserves as Major for the years 1968 to 1978. Currently, Dr. Wilk is retired from active clinical practice. He also maintains his private practice as medico-legal work at New York. He was an assistant professor of surgery at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Centre for the years 1976 to 1979 and Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Centre for the years 1979 to 1984. He has several patents to his credit and also many publications to his credit. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
