Peter N. Golder is a Professor of Marketing at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he has served on the faculty since 2009. He previously held academic positions at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management, UCLA, and the University of Southern California. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

His academic leadership roles have included Co-Editor of the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Marketing Letters, and trustee of the Marketing Science Institute. He has also served as Faculty Director for global and first-year MBA programs at Tuck.

Professor Golder’s research and teaching focus on market entry, new products, market leadership, quality, global marketing, and branding. His published work includes books and numerous journal articles, with recognition from the American Marketing Association, INFORMS, and the Marketing Science Institute for contributions to marketing theory and practice.

Earlier in his career, he worked in industry with Northrop Corporation and Conoco. He has also delivered presentations at leading academic and professional conferences on topics related to marketing strategy and consumer behavior.
