Peter Noneng Bretan

Dr. Peter Noneng Bretan Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S. is a urology expert witness from California. His clinical expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, kidney transplantation and surgical oncology. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of California and is certified by The American Board of Urology. He completed his undergraduate training in 1976 from the University of California, Berkeley where he obtained a B.S. in physiology, he then earned his M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the year 1980. During his postdoctoral training, he completed his internship from US Public Health Service Hospital, residency in general surgery and urology from the University of California, San Francisco. He further completed his fellowship in radiology from the University of California, San Francisco and transplantation & renovascular surgery from The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Currently, he is the founder & president at Marin Medical society and an associate professor of surgery/ urology and Chief Northern California Renal Transplant Program at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He has numerous publications to his credit. He can speak Spanish and Filipino in addition to English.
