Dr. Paul Richard Carney, M.D. is a paediatric neurology expert witness from Florida. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of Missouri, North Carolina, Florida and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his B.S. in Chemistry in 1980 from the John Carroll University and then earned his M.D. in 1990 from University of Valparaiso School of Medicine. He then pursued his residency in Paediatrics in 1994 from the Case Western Reserve University - University Hospitals and fellowship in Child Neurology in 1997 from the University of Michigan. He further pursued his fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Neurophysiology/Clinical Epilepsy in 1998 from the University of Michigan. Currently, Dr. Carney is a paediatric neurologist at the University of North Carolina Hospitals and UF Health Shands Hospital. He has many publications to his credit. He has been America's Best Doctors for the years 2008 to 2016. He is also a Fellow of the American Neurological Association and the American Academy of Paediatrics.
