Dr. Nicholas Namias, M.D., M.B.A., completed his B.A. in Microbiology from the State University of New Jersey, Rutgers College and then earned his M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Rutgers Medical School. He further completed his residency and fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami. He then completed his M.B.A. from the University of Miami, School of Business. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Currently, Dr Namias is the Robert Zeppa Chair in Surgery at the University of Miami. He is also the Director of the Ryder Trauma Center and a Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.
