He completed his internship in Internal Medicine from the Long Island College Hospital at Brooklyn, New York. He further completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Management and Pediatric Anesthesiology from State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York. He also served the military where he served as the Major of the United States Air Force Medical Corps during Operation Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged in 1991 from the military. Currently, Dr. Blauzvern maintains his pain management practice at Central Texas Spine Institute, LLP at Austin, Texas.
