Dr. Nancy Reau, M.D. is a nationally recognized expert in hepatology and liver transplantation based in Illinois. She earned her B.A. in Neuroscience, magna cum laude, from Oberlin College in 1991 and her M.D., cum laude, from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1996. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Ohio State University Medical Center, followed by an advanced Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Medical Center.

Dr. Reau is currently a Professor of Medicine at Rush University Medical Center, where she also serves as the Section Chief of Hepatology, Associate Director of Solid Organ Transplantation, and holds the Richard B. Capps Chair of Hepatology. Her board certifications include Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology.

She has held academic appointments at both Rush University and the University of Chicago, contributing significantly to the advancement of liver disease treatment and transplant care.
