Dr. Nancy B. Cohn is a licensed psychologist with more than three decades of experience in clinical and forensic psychology. He earned a B.A. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine, followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utah. His doctoral training included an APA-approved internship, and he later completed postdoctoral training and fellowship work in forensic psychology at the University of Southern California Institute of Psychiatry, Law and Behavioral Science.

Since 1988, Dr. Cohn has maintained a private practice in Salt Lake City focused on assessment, with specialization in civil and criminal forensic evaluations of adults and adolescents. He serves as a Designated Examiner for the State of Utah and has worked as a psychological consultant for Disability Determination Services since 2005. His previous positions include Chief Psychologist and Director of Training at Valley Mental Health, forensic evaluator for the Utah Department of Human Services, and faculty appointments at the University of Utah and the University of Southern California.

His professional work has encompassed risk assessment, competency evaluations, custody and parental fitness evaluations, trauma-related assessments, criminal responsibility, and personal injury cases. He has published and presented extensively in law and psychology, including trial competence and risk assessment.
