Zheng holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Her background includes instructing engineering courses, contributing to research in metallic glasses and biomimetic materials, and authoring a U.S. patent. She is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and has experience with a range of material testing standards including ASTM, ISO, Mil, and NASA specifications.
