Dr. Michael Jerome Washington, M.D. is an emergency medicine expert witness from Tennessee. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. Dr. Washington completed his schooling from the University of Detroit Jesuit College Preparatory School. He subsequently completed his undergraduate degree in Biology/Chemistry in 1978 from the Talladega College and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1982 from the Meharry Medical College. He further completed his internship and residency from the Henry Ford Hospital. He also completed his Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2012 from the Auburn University. Currently, Dr. Washington is affiliated to the Methodist-LeBonheur, Healthcare of Memphis at the University Hospital. He also serves as the Attending Emergency Room Physician and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is also the Medical Director at the Methodist Hospital Olive Branch Emergency Department. Dr. Washington is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
