Dr. Michael Ian Shamos Ph.D., J.D. is a computer science expert witness from Pennsylvania. He completed his A.B. in Physics from Princeton University in 1968 and his M.A. from Vassar College in 1970. Dr. Shamos then earned his M.S. in 1972 from American University, followed by his M.S. in 1973, his M.Phil. in 1974, and his Ph.D. in 1978 from Yale University. He also earned his J.D. in 1981 from Duquesne University School of Law.
Currently, Dr. Shamos is the Distinguished Career Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. Previously, he was the Principal Lecturer and the Principal Systems Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University
