He then completed his Student Research Fellowship in 1986 from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute of Health at Bethesda, Maryland. He further completed internships in Medicine in 1988 and residency in Neurology in 1991 from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also completed his second internship in Surgery in 1992 and second residency in Neurosurgery in 1994 from the Temple University Hospital at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania respectively. He then completed fellowship in Stroke in 1995 under the Vascular Neurology Program from the Yale University at New Haven, Connecticut. He also completed his M.B.A. in Finance and Operation in 2009 from the Loyola University Chicago at Chicago, Illinois. Currently, Dr. Schneck is the Professor of the Department of Neurology and the Professor of the Department of the Neurological Surgery at the Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University at Chicago, Illinois. He is also Medical Director of Neurosciences ICU and the Director of Neurology Intensive Care Program and also the Associate Director of Stroke Program at the Loyola University Medical Center.
