Michael Gordon Muhonen

Dr. Michael Gordon Muhonen M.D. is a Neurological Surgery expert witness from California. He has an active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of California. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He finished his B.S. in Biology in 1983 from Oral Roberts University at Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then earned his M.D. in 1987 from the Oral Roberts University at the School of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He then pursued his internship in General Surgery from the University of Iowa Hospitals at Iowa City, Iowa. He also pursued his residency in Neurosurgery from the University of Iowa Hospitals at Iowa City, Iowa. Currently, Dr. Muhonen is Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery and Director of Neuroscience Institute from Children's Hospital of Orange County at Orange, California. He also presently works as an Affiliate staff physician and Assistant Clinical Professor from the University Of California Irvine College Of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association, a member of the American Society of Pediatric Neurological Surgeons, and also a member of the American Physiological Society. He also has several publications and honors to his credit.
