Dr.Michael Albert Mont M.D. is an orthopedic surgery expert witness from New York. He earned his B.A in Natural Science in 1980 from the Johns Hopkins University and then earned his M.D. in 1984 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He further completed his internship and residency from the Mount Sinai Medical Center at New York, New York and then completed his fellowship from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Mont has physician's licenses from the states of Maryland, New York and Ohio and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Mont is the System Chief of Joint Reconstruction and the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is also affiliated with Sinai Hospital at Baltimore, Maryland and the Northwest Hospital at Randallstown, Maryland.
Dr. Mont focusses on joint degeneration, hip and knee replacements, revision joint replacements, complex bone disorders and osteonecrosis. He has over 30 years of experience in complex hip and knee reconstructive surgery and has performed more than 6,000 joint replacements. He also has over 500 articles and book chapters to his credit.
