Dr. Michael D. Lyman, Ph.D., B.S., M.S., began his career as a special agent and criminal investigator for the Kansas Bureau of investigation. He then moved to the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs as a senior agent and criminal investigator. While with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs he was assigned to the Street Enforcement and Intelligence Division. During his 11 year law enforcement career Michael has made over 600 felony arrest. For the last 18 years he has been professor of Criminal Justice at the Columbia College of Missouri. Dr. Michael D. Lyman, Ph.D., B.S., M.S., has authored seven books about the enforcement function in criminal justice. He has been practicing as an expert witness/consultant since 2001 and as such have sat on both sides of the table evaluating cases for both plaintiff and defense. His academic background is 1. Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice (1977) Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas. 2. Master of Science in Administration of Justice ñ Police Agency Management (1979) Wichita State University Graduate School, Wichita, Kansas. 3.
