Michael Levy

Dr. Michael Lee Levy, M.D. is a neurosurgery expert witness from California. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of California and is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He completed his High School in 1977 from the Robert Louis Stevenson High School, Pebble Beach, California. He also completed his Bachelor of Arts in 1981 from the University of California at San Diego, San Diego, California and then earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1986 from the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine San Francisco, California. He then pursued his internship in General Surgery in 1987 and residency in Neurological Surgery in 1993 from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California. He further pursued his fellowship in Neurological Surgery in 1995 from the Children Hospital of Los Angeles Department of Neurological Surgery, Los Angeles, California. Currently, Dr. Levy is a neurosurgeon at USC University Hospital, LAC-USC Medical Centre, Rady Children's Hospital and UC San Diego Health-Jacobs Medical Centre. He has several publications to his credit. He has been San Diego Area’s Top Doctors for the years of 2003 to 2017 and also American’s Top Doctors for the years of 2009 to 2017. He is also a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
