Michael David Hellinger

Dr. Michael David Hellinger, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.S.C.R.S., A.O.A., is a colon and rectal surgery expert witness from Florida. He has a medical practitioner’s license from the state of Florida. He has expertise in colon and rectal surgery and surgery. He is certified by The American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Medical Specialties. He completed his B.S. in 1983 from the Tufts University and earned his M.D. in 1988 from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then pursued Internship in 1989 from the Jackson Memorial Hospital and Residency in 1992 from the Jackson Memorial Hospital. Also he pursued Fellowship in 1994 from the Orlando Regional Medical Center and The Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando. Presently, he is the Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery Florida International University College of Medicine and he is also Colon and Rectal Surgeon at Department of Surgery in Mount Sinai Medical Center. Formerly, he was the Associate Professor in DeWitt Daughtry Family Department of Surgery, University of Miami School of Medicine, Attending Surgeon in Jackson Memorial Hospital, Director at the Anorectal Physiology Lab In University of Miami Hospital and Clinic, Assistant Professor at the University of Miami and Chief at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is associated with Fellow of The American College of Surgeons, Fellow of The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He is married.
