Dr. Michael Seth Donnenberg M.D. is an infectious disease expert witness from Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1979 from the State University of New York at Albany and then earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1983 from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He further completed his internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and then completed his fellowships at Tufts/New England Medical Center and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Donnenberg is the Senior Associate Dean for Research and Research Training and the Professor of Internal Medicine and of Microbiology and Immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Prior to this, he was the Director of the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
