Michael A. Bullis

Michael A. Bullis is a highly experienced professional in the fields of disability services and rehabilitation. He completed Business Management Training at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and holds a National Orientation and Mobility Instructor Certification (NOMC). Michael's career spans several decades, with notable leadership roles such as the Executive Director of the IMAGE Center in Towson, Maryland, and the Executive Director of the Maryland Department of Disabilities. His prior experience also includes working as a Trainer at Blind Industries and Services of Maryland, where he taught cane travel, Braille, and home management, as well as serving in multiple positions at the Oregon Commission for the Blind. Michael's dedication to enhancing services for the blind and disabled community is evident in his extensive work in rehabilitation, policy development, and leadership in various organizations, including the Oregon Disabilities Commission and the Governor's Task Force on Disability Services. Additionally, Michael has entrepreneurial experience as the owner/operator of several restaurants in Oregon, demonstrating his diverse skill set in business management alongside his advocacy and leadership in the disability field.
