Michael Brubaker

Mike Brubaker, SRA opened Brubaker and Associates in 1988 and has been a testifying expert appraiser for over 30 years. During that period Mike has completed thousands of appraisals and developed opinions of value and testified on numerous "stigmatized" properties. Some examples include properties impacted by construction defects, contamination by hazardous materials, fault lines, EMF’s, structural defects, history of heinous crimes, murder/suicides, past flooding and more. Mike has also prepared numerous reports concerning complex valuation issues such as clouded titles, valuations of life estates, undivided partial interests, historic designations, adverse easements and encroachments. The firm has a broad base of clients and regularly performs thousands of residential appraisals each year. Mikes depth of appraisal knowledge is widely known and his unique presentation skills make him a popular speaker at many real estate industry events both local and regional. His communication skills are fine-tuned regularly as a result of his numerous public speaking and teaching activities. He has developed and presented numerous seminars and has qualified as an instructor for the Appraisal Institute and the Texas Real Estate Commission.
