Dr. Michael Lynn Ault, M.D. is an anesthesiology expert witness from Maryland. His clinical expertise also includes critical care medicine with a focus on the cardiac surgery patient population. He has active medical licenses from the states of Maryland, Illinois, Florida, California and Arizona and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He earned his M.D. in 1991 from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine in the year 1991. He further completed his internship in 1992 from the University of Maryland. Dr. Ault also completed his residency in Anesthesiology in 1995 and fellowship in Critical Care Medicine in 1996 from McGaw Medical Center, Northwestern University. Currently, Dr. Ault is the Chief of Critical Care in the Department of Anesthesiology and the Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, Medical Education, Neurological Surgery and Surgery at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. He is also affiliated to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
