Dr. Matthew D. Green, Ph.D. is the computer science expert witness from Maryland. He earned his B.S. in 1988 from Oberlin College and his Ph.D. in 2008 from The Johns Hopkins University.

Currently, Dr. Green is the Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Information Security Institute and Co-Founder of Sealance Corp. Additionally, he is the Chief Scienctist at Cryptography Engineering LLC. Prior to this, he was the Assistant Research Professor at Johns Hopkins University and CTO at Independent Security Evaluators.

He has additional knowledge in developing privacy-preserving cryptographic protocols,  understanding the practical aspects of cryptographic systems, implementing cryptographic protocols, and in some cases reverse-engineering deployed systems.
