Dr. Mary Grace Shelkey, Ph.D., R.N., A.R.N.P. is a nursing expert witness from Washington. She has a registered nurse’s license as well as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner’s license from the state of Washington. Dr. Shelkey completed her Diploma in Nursing in 1975 from Queens Hospital Center, School of Nursing. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1979 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 1992 from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing followed by her Ph.D. in 2004 from New York University. Dr. Shelkey further completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Washington, School of Nursing. Currently, Dr. Shelkey is the Associate Professor and the Director of Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at Seattle University. Additionally, she is the geriatric nurse practitioner at Group Health Cooperative.
