He is a Fellow, American College of Chest Physicians and a member of American Thoracic Society, Hartford County Medical Association, Connecticut Thoracic Society and Connecticut State Medical Society. He was the recipient of Garibaldi Award by Uconn Health, the Winner of the Alfred Soffer Research Award for Best Clinical Research Presentation by American College of Chest Physicians Annual National Meeting, Included in Guide to Top Doctors, Named One of America's Top Doctors 2001-2015 and he was also awarded with Connecticut Lung Health Award by American Lung Association of Connecticut. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Connecticut.
