Dr. Bladergroen specializes in minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, aortic aneurysm surgery and off-pump bypass surgery. He was responsible for developing the Bon Secours Heart & Vascular Institute endograft surgery program and performed the first thoracic endograft in Central Virginia. He serves as a section chief for Memorial Regional Medical Center and as a chief medical information officer for Bon Secours Richmond Health System. He is affiliated with St. Francis Medical Center, Memorial Regional Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital. He is a member of Cardiothoracic Surgery Network and The Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He has over 41 years of experience in medical field. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia.
