Dr. Marilyn A. Huestis, Ph.D., M.S., A.B., B.A. is a toxicology expert witness from Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. in 1970 from Mount Holyoke College and then earned her M.S. in 1979 from University of New Mexico School of Medicine. She also completed her Ph.D. in 1992 from University of Maryland School of Medicine and earned her M.D. Doctor Honoris causa in 2010 from University of Helsinki.
Currently, Dr. Huestis is the Chief, Chemistry and Drug Metabolism at National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA IRP), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Additionally, she is the Lecturer at Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to this, she was the Chief Toxicologist at Nichols Institute Diagnostics.
She has additional knowledge in drug metabolism, mass spectrometry, chemistry, pharmacology and neuroscience.
