Prior to this he was the Chief of the Division of Cardiology, and Director of Cardiology Fellowship Training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He is also Professor of Medicine at the Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. Previously, he was director of clinical research at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, and was director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and is a member of the Cardiovascular Health Advisory Panel to the Commissioner of Health of the State of New Jersey.He has few publications to his credit. He also knows Arabicand Spanish in addition to English.
