Dr. M. Kate Bundorf, Ph.D., is an esteemed expert in public policy, health economics, and health policy research. Currently, Dr. Bundorf serves as the S. Malcolm Gillis Distinguished Professor of Public Policy at Duke University and is a core faculty member of the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy. She also contributes to the Faculty Steering Committee at Duke. Prior to joining Duke, Dr. Bundorf was an Associate Professor (with tenure) at Stanford University, where she held positions in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Health Research and Policy from 2010 to 2020. Her academic expertise spans health policy, health economics, and primary care outcomes research. Dr. Bundorf's career also includes significant experience in the healthcare consulting and research sectors. She has worked as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University's Clinical Economics Research Unit and held various internships at Healthcare Management Alternatives, NERA, and ZS Associates. Her scholarly work and extensive experience make her a recognized authority in healthcare economics and policy, contributing to important advancements in public health and medical research.
