Previously, she was a Principal Research Scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Institute of Materials and Director of the Georgia Tech Materials Analysis Center from 2015 to 2018, retiring from Georgia Tech in 2018. From 1992 to 2015, she held the role of Principal Research Scientist and Group Leader at the Georgia Tech Research Institute’s Materials Analysis Center. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Research Scientist and Assistant Professor at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology (1990–1992) and as a Research Scientist at McCrone Associates, Inc. (1987–1990).
