Dr. Lew Charles Schon, M.D., F.A.A.O.S. is an orthopedic surgery expert witness from Maryland. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Maryland, District Of Columbia and New York and certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. After finishing his schooling in 1978 from the Edgemont High School, Dr. Schon completed his B.S. in Biology in 1982 from the Union College and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1984 from the Albany Medical College. He further completed his internship, residency and fellowship from the Mount Sinai Medical Center, Hospital For Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute and the University Of Washington/ Harborview Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Schon is the Clinical Professor at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the Orthopaedic Surgeon at the NYU Langone. He also serves as the Director of Orthopedic Innovation for the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at the Mercy Medical Center. He also has several publications to his credit. Dr. Schon is the Fellow of the American Academy of Orhtopaedic Surgeons.
