His professional background includes significant roles such as a Partner at Lott & Fischer, PL and at Lott & Friedland. Lott has also been involved in various influential committees and boards, including serving on the International Trademark Association’s Panel of Distinguished Neutrals for Trademark Resolution since January 1994. He has been active with The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors and contributed to the U.S. Department of Commerce Advisory Committee. Lott's leadership in intellectual property law is further evidenced by his roles as Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and his extensive committee work with the Florida Bar, including the Intellectual Property Law Committee and the Federal Legislation Committee. His contributions to legal scholarship include serving as Editor of the Southern District Digest.
