Leslie Jean Lott

Leslie J. Lott, J.D., is a highly regarded attorney with extensive expertise in trademark law and alternative dispute resolution. He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 1974 and a B.A. with honors from the University of Florida in 1972.

Lott currently serves as the President of Lott & Fischer PL, a position he has held since April 2011. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Trademark Law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, a role he has fulfilled since January 1999. Additionally, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Florida Law Center Association since January 1998. His professional background includes significant roles such as a Partner at Lott & Fischer, PL and at Lott & Friedland. Lott has also been involved in various influential committees and boards, including serving on the International Trademark Association’s Panel of Distinguished Neutrals for Trademark Resolution since January 1994. He has been active with The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors and contributed to the U.S. Department of Commerce Advisory Committee. Lott's leadership in intellectual property law is further evidenced by his roles as Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and his extensive committee work with the Florida Bar, including the Intellectual Property Law Committee and the Federal Legislation Committee. His contributions to legal scholarship include serving as Editor of the Southern District Digest.
