Dr. Kaliebe is board certified in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry. His academic appointments include over a decade on the faculty at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center before joining the University of South Florida, where he became a full professor in 2023.

His clinical work spans correctional psychiatry, hospital-based care, and outpatient practice. He has provided psychiatric evaluation and treatment in juvenile correctional facilities in Florida and Louisiana, served as a psychiatrist on duty for major hospital systems, and supervised residents and fellows in academic training programs.

Dr. Kaliebe has received recognition for his work, including repeated listings as a “Best Doctor” and designation as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
