Krisa Page Van Meurs

Dr. Krisa Page Van Meurs, M.D., A.B. is a physician based in Palo Alto, California. She is board certified in Pediatrics since 1987 and in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine since 1993 by American Board of Pediatrics. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in the year 1977 from Mount Holyoke College in Chemistry. She earned her medical degree from George Washington University Office of the Registrar in the year 1981. She completed her residency in the year 1985 from Children's Hospital National Medical Center and in the year 1987 from National Institutes of Health. She held the position of Professor at Med Center Line, Pediatrics - Neonatal and Developmental Medicine. She was also the Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics, George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. She is a member of Maternal & Child Health Research Institute (MCHRI). Her clinical focus is in persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, hypoxic respiratory failure, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, ECMO, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, neonatal clinical trials, and the use of EEG and NIRS to detect brain injury. She serves at the Editorial Board of American Journal of Perinatology since 2006. She is currently affiliated with Stanford Children's Health, Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine Palo Alto, California. She is licensed to practice medicine in the state of California.
