Kris Lee Sperry

Dr. Kris Lee Sperry, M.D., is a pathology expert witness from Georgia. He also has expertise in anatomical pathology, clinical pathology and forensic pathology. He has medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Georgia and Wisconsin and is certified by the American Board of Pathology. He completed his schooling in 1971 from the Lawrence High School at Lawrence, Kansas and then completed his B. S. with major in Biology and minor in Chemistry in 1975 from the Kansas State College of Pittsburg at Pittsburg, Kansas. He then earned his M.D. in 1978 from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine at Kansas City, Kansas. He then pursued his flexible internship from the Allentown Hospital at Allentown, Pennsylvania and his residency in Pathology from the University Of New Mexico School Of Medicine at Albuquerque, New Mexico respectively. He further pursued his fellowship in Forensic Pathology from the Office of the Medical Investigator for the State of New Mexico, University of New Mexico School of Medicine at Albuquerque, New Mexico. He served the military from 1979 to 1981 as a Commissioned Officer for the United States Public Health Service, Indian Health Service Branch. Currently, Dr. Sperry is the Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Georgia at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Division of Forensic Sciences. He is also the Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Pathology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta, Georgia. He has several publications to his credit.
