He has been a Consulting Engineer with Engineering Design and Testing Corp./EDT Engineers, P.C. since 2007, where his work focuses on reconstruction of vehicle collisions involving passenger and heavy vehicles, analysis of braking systems, and evaluation of occupant dynamics. His analyses include collision speed determination, acceleration and deceleration studies, component failure analysis, and motion analysis of vehicles and occupants, as well as retrieval and interpretation of event data recorder information.

Mr. McClure’s consulting experience also includes evaluation of mechanical equipment, machinery analysis, HVAC system assessment, and determination of fire origin and cause. His work addresses both property damage and mechanical system performance issues.

Prior to his consulting role, Mr. McClure spent three decades with Gibson Machine Company, where he held positions including Director of Engineering and Plant Engineer. His responsibilities included improving manufacturing processes, designing tooling and fixtures, overseeing equipment installation, and developing safety programs.

He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states.
