Dr. Kenneth Lewis Brayman, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S. is a surgery expert witness from Virginia. His expertise also includes transplant surgery and biomedical engineering. Dr. Brayman completed his schooling in 1973 from the Newton South High School at Newton, Massachusetts. He then completed his B.S. in Biochemistry, Summa cum Laude in 1977 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Massachusetts and then completed his M.D. in 1981 from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine. Dr. Brayman further completed his internship and residencies from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then competed his fellowship in Transplantation Surgery and then completed his training in Surgical Endoscopy from the University of Minnesota Hospital at Minneapolis, Minnesota. Currently, Dr. Brayman is the Professor of Surgery, Medicine, and Biomedical Engineering and also the Chief of Transplant Division, Department of Surgery at the University of Virginia.
