Dr. Kelly Martinez Semrad, Ph.D., is a distinguished expert in tourism and hospitality with a focus on econometric and market analyses, revenue and risk management, social and environmental justice in the tourism industry, and community organization and planning. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida, an M.S. in Sports Marketing and Management from St. Thomas University, and a B.S. in Communications from the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Semrad is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida, where she has served since 2013. She previously held roles as Associate Director at the UF Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management Department and the Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute.
