Expert Details
Prior to joining LSU, Hall practiced law at Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann in New Orleans from 1996 to 2012. He became a member of the firm and co-chaired its Energy and Environment practice group, handling matters in oil and gas law, environmental law, and commercial litigation. He also authored the firm’s Oil & Gas Law Brief.
In addition to his academic work, Hall serves as a legal consultant, expert witness, and arbitrator in oil and gas disputes and transactions in several states, including Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Earlier in his career, he worked eight years as a chemical engineer before entering the legal field.
