Karen Ann Santucci

Dr. Karen Ann Santucci, M.D. is a surgical pediatric witness from Connecticut. She also has expertise in emergency medicine. She has active medical practitioner’s license from the state of Connecticut. She is also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She completed her B.S. in Biology in 1984 from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and then completed her Teaching Fellowship in Biology in 1985 from the New York University. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1989 from the State University of New York at Brooklyn, New York. She further completed internship in Pediatrics in 1990 and residency in Pediatrics in 1992 from the Children’s Medical Center of Brooklyn at SUNY Downstate. She also served as Chief Resident during her tenure of residency. *Currently, Dr. Santucci is Professor of Pediatrics, Section Chief of Emergency Medicine and of Medical Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine at New Haven, Connecticut. She also serves as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the Quinnipiac University School of Health Sciences at Hamden, Connecticut and also Attending Physician of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital at New Haven, Connecticut. She also has many publications to her credit. She resides in Connecticut.edu
