Karen Kim Quirk

Dr. Karen Kim Quirk, M.D., is a highly skilled vascular surgeon with extensive training and experience in both general and vascular surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in 1998 and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine in 2006. Dr. Quirk completed her surgical internship and residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, followed by a specialized Vascular Surgical Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Quirk has been a key member of Coastal Vascular Center in Oxnard, CA since March 2015. Prior to this, she worked at Valley Vascular Associates in Van Nuys, CA, and held a prestigious fellowship at UC San Diego. Her career began with significant research roles, including positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Arriva Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which laid a foundation for her clinical expertise. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Quirk is actively involved in academia as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Western University of Health Sciences. She also serves as Vascular Surgery Attending Staff at Community Memorial Hospital and is a member of the Southern California Vascular Surgical Society. Her leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of the Medical Student Council at UC Irvine and as a staff member on the Committee of Interns and Residents at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Quirk's diverse experience and academic involvement make her a distinguished expert in the field of vascular surgery.
