Dr. Juan Carlos Ayus, M.D. is a nephrology expert witness from California. Dr. Ayus completed his Bachelor’s degree in 1959 from the National College #17 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and then earned his M.D. in 1967 from the University of Buenos Aires, School of Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He further completed his first residency and his first fellowship at the Medical Research Institute, University of Buenos Aires and then completed his internship at the Memorial Hospital, University of Massachusetts. He also completed his second residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, University of Minnesota and his second fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco General Hospital. Currently, Dr. Ayus is the Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University California Irvine and is a Voluntary Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami, School of Medicine.
