Joshua Matthew Abzug

Dr.JoshuaMatthew Abzug M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeryexpert witness from Maryland. His clinical expertise includes pediatric orthopaedic surgery and hand surgery. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state ofMarylandand is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his undergraduate training from York College of Pennsylvania where he obtained a B.S. in biology in 2000. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 2004. During his postdoctoral training, he completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery fromDrexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.Dr. Abzug completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Thomas Johnson University Medical College and the Philadelphia Hand Center. He completed a fellowship in pediatric upper extremity and pediatric orthopaedic at the Shriners Hospital for Children of Philadelphia and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.Currently, he is a director of orthopaedics and pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and University of Maryland Brachial Plexus Clinic. He is also a Deputy Surgeon-In-Chief at Um Children’s Hospital and Vice-Chair of The Dean's Council for Pediatric Surgery.
