Dr. Joseph Ben Shrager M.D. is a surgery and thoracic and cardiac surgery expert witness from California. He completed his B.A. in 1984 from Amherst College and M.D. in 1988 from Harvard University. He further completed his internship from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his residencies from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts General Hospital. He also completed his fellowship from the Harrison Department of Surgical Research, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Shrager is a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery, chief of division of thoracic surgery and CCP Leader at Stanford Hospitals and Clinics/Stanford University S.O.M. / Stanford Cancer Institute.
