Dr. Joseph Loren Mills, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a vascular surgery expert witness from Texas. He completed his B.S. in Biology in 1977 and his M.D. in 1987 from Georgetown University. He further completed his internship and residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. He then completed his fellowships at Oregon Health Sciences University and at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He has a physician’s license from the state of Texas and is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Mills is the John W. “Jack” Reid, M.D., ’43 and Josephine L. Reid Endowed Professor of Surgery and is the Professor and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy at Baylor College of Medicine. He is also the Program Director of Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency at Baylor College of Medicine and is the Medical Director of the Diabetic Foot and Wound Care Center at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center.
